Here is a site I am doing using Colormatic for a fishing lure manufacturer

Still have loads of content to bring in from the old site but I think I am near complete with the look and feel.
Need to go back and fix "Read More"

Very snappy site! I love the look (and speed).
One thing I noticed is that your 'about us' loads when I click on the top menu, but the other 'about' link in the other menu in the header area returns:
404 - Article #1 not found
PS...doing a 'hooked on ...' site and looking for some pngs of hooks and perhaps fishing poles for my logo; any ideas?

Thanks - that is one of the (many) content items I need to pull over from the old site - more than a few dead links to work out and several place holders up for the moment. I just want to get OK from the client (wierd calling friend a "client") to move forward and then add the content. As for speed, it is nice not sharing server space with lots of sites

Hooks are easy, take large images of hooks, erase the background, add drop shadow and a little embossing. Good hooks to find are the red ones in that they jump out well. I have some PNG/PSDs of Trebble and the odd J hook if you want to give an email address... OTH fishing poles do not work well as they are very long and skinny so images lack any real impact or clarity unless you had need for a 700x30 image or something with such a sever aspect ratio. Just don't show Walmart gear if you want to keep the cognoscenti interested

Seemed as though some of the Articles were formatted in bold, some standard font....
If I chose one set sized in my browser, it seemed to change from Article to Article.
Also, testimonials seem to be formatted in italic (bold?), which was difficult to read.
If you're using italics, use them to highlight parts of the testimonial, not the whole thing, or use typography to quote a key point in the article at the top to entice readers to read the whole thing. If I see a testimonial longer then 3-5 lines, I click on the back button.... - Thanks,

JEM - thanks - yes, some of that is Copy & Paste as well as experimenting with format. Most of the experiments went horribly wrong - thanks again!
