...just kidding, it's a nice implementation of Populus, but I don't understand a total block of IE, given that IE commands more than 50% of the share of Internet browsers in action. You already cut your viewership in half.
I think you are going to turn away a lot of good traffic. I know that IE is horrible and all, but to completely block it is a little overboard.
The reasons you brought up in your forum post are all decent reasons, but to say that a potentially bad experience on your site using ie means that you would just rather not have people on the site it kind of lame. When I look at the websites that people post on RT, I view them using all of the browsers on my PC (Safari, IE7, IE6 'on my laptop', and Mozilla). Every once in a while, there is a java error in IE6, but it doesn't affect the browsing of the site, it is usually something very basic that can be fixed with a little TLC, or you can figure that most web surfers don't even pay attention to their IE errors, because they wouldn't even know what it meant in the first place. I would take that code out of your .htaccess file, and let everyone into your site.

Yes i would like to have a look at your website and make some feedback, but i get the same message:

75% of people use IE to surf the web and only 17% use Mozilla Firefox so blocking IE users isnt a good idea as nick says its driving away so much traffic!!
