    • Luis, I loved how you made the logo reflection. Can you tell me how you did that?

Also loved your page peel advert. Is that a separate Joomla extension?

Nice job on the site - it's well populated with content already. Great work!

    • Hello Heidi. Thanks for your comments. The page peel extension is a module, you just place a new module position aligned to the right just below the </head> and activate the module. You can find it on extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...k_id,3209/Itemid,35/

About the reflection, i use Corel Draw to design (i donĀ“t care about what ilustrator designers have to say jejeje is better for web, period). You just duplicate the fonts upsidedown under the logo, and apply a transparency from top to bottom on the upsidedown font.

Then you export all as a transparent png file, and place it on the logo position using the css file.

You can do that with flash too. I did it in populus on www.elclubenjoy.com/

      Good look with that!

    • Que onda Carlos!. To place images on your website, first you have to know what kind of usage you are going to have there. On my site i use gallery2 because we need to feed about 150 pictures every night and we need users to have te habilty to publish theyr oun albums.

There are smallest applications for publishing galleries, but if you need an intense ap gallery2 is what you need. This is not an extension, it is a standalone system and you need to install it apart from joomla. Once you have done that, you need the joomlalib component, and the gallery2 bridge. Once bridged the joomla and the gallery, you only have to install the gallery2image plugin on you JCE editor (with its plugin manager) or manually insert it on your tinymce.

There is a gallery2module that allows you to place random pictures on your gallery, and some other resources that you are going to find along the way of installing all this.

I can tell you that this is one of the more time consuming and troubleful aplications for joomla that i have found after some 50 installations, but the result is just perfect as you can see.

If you start installing it and need some help send me a msg here.

      Luis.
