VersatilityII with a bit of ModernBusiness

    • Hi All

Our first RocketTheme Site, based mainly on the VersatilityII Template, but with a menu design from ModernBusiness.

Big thanks to everyone at RocketTheme for all the great templates; it was a tough choice to decide which one to use.

Still waiting on a couple of items to go up on the site, like our 1300 phone number which will fill the gap on the top right.

Comments much appreciated as this is our first site and we have spent so long staring at it it's all become a bit of a blur :-)

    • Hi,
It looks very nice. I think it'll be even nicer if the background of the pics (white) is the same colour as the body backgroung (beige).
I plan to use Versatility II too, and I like very much the presentation of the "Online-Shop" menu.
Is it difficult to implement that in Verstaility?
      Cheers ;)

    • Hi Joe

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I agree having our product images with a matching colour to the background would look better. Getting images from the suppliers with a transparent background is not easy.

As for the menu system for the "online-shop". It is basically the menu system from the RocketTheme Modern Business. Was not hard to transfer because of the great way the templates are supplied. I pretty much just copied over the menu information from one template to the other and tweaked the colours and spacing.

Let us know when you get your site up as I would luv to have a look at how you do your menus.

      cheers

    • Thanks for the tip.
Regarding your pics, it's very easy to do it with Photoshop (at least if there is not a "dégradé" in the background).
      Here is an ewample.
      Best,
      Joe
