      Extensions Used: joomlaXplorer, MetaTag Generator,Web Links,Events, JCE Admin, OLD Feed2Post, Events, AllVideos Plugin, All-in-One VideodePoche Buttons 2.5, mod_rt_slideshow, mod_flashcontent, mod_rt_slideshow, mod_events_latest.
      Custom Development:Custom built Flash Gallery and Tuner/Metronome. All Logos and Images changed


      This is a site that evolved after trying to learn flash, Html code, etc. etc. and then trying way too many CMS's. It had to be attractive and dark/rich. Rocket theme fit the bill. Tweaked css and html and added a flash gallery/wrapper

      Any and All constructive suggestions are appreciated. Also would like to go to Joomla 1.5x but seems too daunting right now. Any suggestions for a quick conversion? (I am the owner of the business, so all of the web site work is after hours and late at night while the wife is sleeping... ;D

    • Yes, I recently converted my site to J1.5 and it was incredibly easy.

      Try this:

      This was the method that I used, and I upgraded my site in less than 10 minutes. The only probelem was working with some of the extensions. Most extensions have conversion tools, but unfortunately some still don't. I just reinstalled a bunch of the extensions that I was using, and everything was fine.

      About the site... I would go with a different theme. Maybe dimensions would suit you better. Something more artsy, not as much sporty.

    • Nick, thanks for the link, I dread migrating a mid sized 1.0 - 1.5 (with seo)...

      James - the fonts don't look right, a bit broken and blocky. Maybe its just my computer (FF 2.0 / IE 7). Let me know if you need a screen shot.
