    • I really like the header w/ the cropped out people... I was thinking about doing that for my regional site w/ the skyline, but wasn't sure what to edit... What exactly did you change? This is my first Joomla site, so I'm full of stupid questions :P

Its actually just a module with a picture in it, in position "Top". I did have to change the CSS slightly to expand the size of the module position. I did it that way because I wanted the ability to change it from time to time and change it back easily.

    • I figured it was a module in the top position, but I'm not sure about editing the CSS... could you explain what you changed/added to that? Also, are there any limitations you ran into as far as what kind/size of picture you could use there? Thanks :)

Sure, In the header.css, I changed the parameters for #top and #logo. I just played around with the height, width, left and top parameters.

Basically you're limited by two things. Top of the page, and the page layout option graphics at the top right. Pretty easy to do. Then I just added a PNG file to the "TOP" module position.

    • Made some major updates to the theme colors. Since Smallville is of relation to Superman and the series is edging closer to Clark Kent's destiny, I thought a superman theme'd color change would be appropriate :) .

The Joomla Versatility II theme is based on "Lime"

The SMF Versatility II theme is based on "Sienna"

After a lot of configuring and messing around, it just ended up being easier. For the SMF theme, I basically uploaded the images from the Joomla VII-Lime theme into the SMF Theme directory and made some minor changes to the background and link coloring. Otherwise, all the buttons/images are from SMF VII-Sienna.
