      Other Features: Users can sign up for the site to purchase a ticket, reminisce with former classmates and view yearbooks that were scanned and uploaded to the site.

      Any specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on, if any: The site seems clunky, but overall, all the features are more than warranted. User activity is low so I'm wondering how I can increase the attractiveness of the site.

      Additional Comments:       About a year ago, a classmate and I embarked on celebrating 10-years from our Elementary School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was in charge of building the website, and as with most sites, I choose Joomla! CMS. We decided that the site should be as robust as other community sites, but be well in line with our school. With Google Applications running in the background, and CMS by Joomla! we finally produced a site that was well configured to suit all the needs we had.

    • Have you thought about a picture rotator on the front page in some of that empty space? You could rotate random pics of kids "then and now" and have members upload pics of themselves now. Your visitors/alumni may be interested in seeing the updated pics of people they may not have seen in a long time. The only other suggestion is the bright green border is kind of BRIGHT. If that isn't your school color, I would suggest toning it down to a softer color.

    • Thanks for your reply. We had picture rotation up there, and I agree it was nice affect, but we there was difficulty with the image rotation and randomization. We decided to have a static image.

      Yes, that's our school colors!

      I think after the reunion we are definitely going to revisit this section.
