This is a website I made for my employer. I started with Perihelion and used a background image from Replicant v2. I used the MooMenu but edited the images. Also changed the main content area to semitransparent background. I'm still tweaking text size/color. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Very nice design, Brian. Maybe put a static rendering of one of the slideshow pictures on the submenu pages. If someone has already paused the slideshow and goes to another page, it might be annoying to find the slideshow started up again. Some of us find it distracting to read the page content.
Thank you for your suggestions!
I like the static images idea, and I've begun working on a revised version of the site with static images on the content pages in place of the rotator. Thanks BG!
Henning - I agree the logo needs some work. Creating logos has never been my strong point. I'll try your font suggestion. So when you say typographic, do you mean using text instead of a png?
Nice looking design...you might want to increase the contrast of the font colors on the gray background - the white is hard to read- notice how readability goes up on your links page when you change the font color to blue.
Henning - I've tried creating a logo like yours, but I'm getting some jagged edges. I'm working in Gimp. Do you have any suggestions for how I can smooth the edges? You can see what I've done at the test site, which is at

dday - thank you for your comments. If you look at the test site, you will see that I've increased the font and line height. Do you think that helps?
