High End Photographer's Site with Akiraka

    • This is my second site I have done using a Rocket Theme template. My customer is arguably one of the better photographers in the greater NY area. He wanted simple and classy while being able to manage his own galleries. Phoca worked real well for the galleries (sending donation soon) and this template...all I can say is WOW!! I still have a few things to finish up with it, but really would like some input to see what you guys think.

    • Great site, what components you used? :)

    • I used Phoca gallery for the galleries and Phoca Guestbook.

I also used RokCandy. The individual module images are just simple HTML.

    • Is it me or do the logo and word over the images look fuzzy?

    • He can do either, but being that he is a bit on the techno-challenged side. I have him uploading from the front side of the site.

As far as the "Fuzzy" I never really noticed it before, it is the drop shadow effect on the text.

    • The site looks great! I have to agree though, that the header logo looks a little fuzzy, and should probably be re-done.

I phoca galleries look awesome - did you use a theme for that? I just downloaded phoca, and that's how I want mine to look :cheesy:

The site looks clean and to the point - to my eyes joomla sites often look to cluttered and busy, but you have taken care of that.

    • I am in no way affiliated with Phoca but I'm a big fan of Jan's work.

Make a small donation, say $10.00-15.00, and request the code to remove the back link to his site.

You don't want any links on the site that direct customers from yours (your client's).
