      Hi,

First of all, I think you succeeded very well in creating a "simple" and classy look & feel. But I do have to agree with the poster and the quote above.

In the logo the classic font used looks quite ok. The drop shadow is still a bit dark, but it fits there on top.

Although the same fonts with same drop shadow used in the pictures do tend to be a little bit too much and indeed make the the words become fussy, as you might say, they look a bit smudged.

Don't get me wrong, the site looks gorgeous! Except it would look just that more finished if you got the smudginess out of it.

    • I appreciate all the replies, when we change the front page images around, something the client wants to do every 4-6 months, I will redo them a little bit differently. As far as the Phoca donation, I fully intend to shoot a donation his way as I love his work. I am currently working on a site for a resort that also uses the Phoca gallery, being that I am using it a lot these days it isn't right that I don't send a donation.

I have another site I am working on using this exact same template and it looks nothing like this at all, it is for a fishing resort in Canada, when I am done with it I will post it up also. Some of the suggestions I have received here about this site have been incorporated into this site. Don't hold your breath to see anything of it anytime soon though, it won't be done till probably late summer as I need LOTS of content from the client yet.
