The adaptation wasn’t that bad. I’ve done some other minor redesigns on some other Rocket Theme templates, but this was by far my most extensive adaptation yet. I basically did the whole redesign over the weekend using Photoshop and Firefox. I laid out the design in Photoshop first. I started out with a screen grab of the site using the Mobius template. Then I copied all the image files over using Firefox and redid them in Photoshop and then just replaced them. Oh, and of course some CSS editing to change some background colors and to edit the header images.
I was very happy with the results. But even more importantly, my wife was happy.
