    • I can't believe how awesome Afterburner is! I LOOOVEEE IT!

      Anyway,

      The WEBSITE URL: http://www.hotelarmstrongparis.net

Additional Extensions (Components, Modules, Plug ins):

Global News Module - for the latest news scroll on the bottom of the home page (from blog)
JoomlaGAtor - for my google analytics]
      Mod_tz_clock - for the clock
mod_newslettersubscriber - for the newsletter email subscriptions. Emails the address to be added to main site (wizzyhotels.com)
JT Slideshow - for the main image rotator on each page
GoogleMaps - for the google maps on Location page

      Joomfish - for my translations
rssfeed - to pull in events in Paris data from another site I manage
      yvcomment - for my comments

      Custom Development: NONE.

      Other Features:

This is a modified Afterburner template. TOTALLY ROCKS. The best template ever.

Any specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on, if any:

Anyone know how I can get rid of all the javascript from the plugins I am using that is showing up in the SOURCE? I will try to contact the developers.

      Additional Comments:

I am using the Front Page Blog format for the blog. I think this is the best way to make Joomla into a Blog. I am NOT using any SEF component, just the native Joomla SEF and it works fine except my XMAPS which Google is rejecting as the link isn't SEF.

Other than that I love this template ALOT and have used it on other sites already. One by one I will be switching all my sites to this as it is SUPER fast, easily custimizable, IE 6 friendly, etc...

      Thanks.

    • Thanks Dennis. I appreciate it. I found the Afterburner Template to be super customizable. But Verstility 4 wasn't bad either. Again thanks.

    • Nice job, i see the page very well redesigned, but i as a costumer will love to have more photografic impact. and your home page at least just show some big banner. maybe if you take a look to the new K2 extension it will render your page more atractive.

    • Prim, thank you for your nice feedback.

      Andre,

Thanks for your feedback as well. I appreciate it. I can totally see your point of view, after thinking about it with my client, we chose this layout because we had a very specific idea to get the images of the hotel to be the focus. But thank you, I am happy that you mention the header as I thought about that as well.
