Once again, I've been enlisted to make a website using my semi-hack like skill...more like baby beginner that can crawl, but they ask and I do it. I know that I should fix my unruley URL tags but that'll come later. Basically I'm just looking for any opinions, comments, criticism, etc. You guys always know best.
This is a site for the Missouri Tartan Day that is now recognized as an American holiday on April 6th every year. I am of Scottish descent by 4 generations so I felt compelled to get involved.

Wow, great job Dave.
Things I like:
- Looks very clean and tidy - no clutter
- Great colour scheme
- The Google map thing is awesome, how did you do that, using the wrapper?
- It's not using Sporticus
Things I'm not so sure about:
- Pathway and active links are quite hard to read...having said that, I do love what you've done with the pathway backdrop; it just conflicts a little with the readability
- It was slow to load - although granted, that might just be my connection (and I'm in the UK of course).
Then using those numbers along with the free api key from Google, you just insert the mos code into your content. You can customize your tooltip and banner from within that code.
