I have actually made a Men's slowpitch softball website (well its currently still in development). I notice you dont have stats on your site, was this something you were thinking of adding? If yes how were you planning on doing it? If interested, I can let you take a peek at mine.

Problem is that our team isn't really keeping stats and tha's why I didn't do it.
If you go to my other site at
www.myfastpitchprofile.com
you will see where I did include them for people to add.
I used Profile Manager (Proma) and alot of messing around with it to get it the way i wanted it. I just changed templates on that one to Affinity too.
It was easier than I thought, basically just moving some modules around!
I would love to see your site. Please post the address!
HI. Wow...this is kind of what I was looking for in my latest site. It is a hockey site with over 160 adult league players and I want to be able to keep stats on the 7 to 8 games a week that will be played. I was hoping to be able to upload a file and automatically update the stats page but having people login and make their own updates to stats may be the only reasonable way to go. Is this JomSocial that you used?
Any help you can give me in this area would be appreciated. Thanks JEM for pointing me this direction.
This is the best option that i was able to come up with. I was constantly being harassed to update someones profile and just used the best way that I knew how or could find.
Jomsocial doesn't have what you are looking for as far as creating profiles etc. It's more of a social networking component.
You can use Profile Manager (Proma) to create your different Profile Types (teams). And use Community Builder to create the Tabs and fields. It can all get a bit confusing but if I can figure it out anyone can! You can choose to use certain fields and tabs on one profile type and not the other if you choose. These two components are the key to making everything work the way you want.
You can post a stats sheet on the site for everyone to use to update their stats on their profile or email it.
That's the best solution I have until someone comes out with a really awesome component to do it for you. (hint, hint, wink, wink to all the developers out there)
Here is my problem Daryl. The hockey director wants to update the stats himself...doesnt want them logging in... so Im trying to figure out a way to make it easier to update the stats for 7 to 8 games a week that doesnt consist of opening individual player pages and saving info. I was hoping he would agree to let the people login and do it for themselves...but nope..he wants to do it. Sounds like Im going to have to do a custom programming thing..unless this component has something that will only allow one admin to login and do the work.
