    • Well I've been wanting a complete image for my site for ages...when Vortex was released I thought all my wishes had com to be all at once.

I still have allot of content to get on up and quiet a bit of rework but after 6 days, (only spent a few hours on it so far due to 'actual work to be done', I think its starting to come along.

Any comments the good bad, ugly are welcome. Ideas are always appreciated too.

    • Nice clean look

Bit too much content on front page maybe ? , not sure how many would scroll all the way down to the bottom to see some of the stuff you have listed there

    • Thanks Mark, taken aboard and will rectify that, actually just need to start making more pages and links so I can just put a few items there.
It's all the little things like this that will make it better!

    • Yeah the feedback really helps

I put my site up for feedback a while ago and just when I think the thread is on its way down, someone else adds another good suggestion. :)

    • Hi Justin,

It's coming along nicely! Your right - the template fits with your motif. My only thought so far, is that I start to get lost right after scrolling down to "Breaking News." I'm not sure what I'm looking at after the Quotebox - I know it is a bulleted list - but why do I want to see it, how does it help me find what I'm looking for (or at least what I might be looking for) on your site?

    • Might I suggest that when you go to the wrapper for the templates you don't publish the right column. The content gets very chopped off when it's there.

    • Looking good. Only suggestion I have is with the button nav the 2 new ones you have made templates and links - I would make the icons slightly smaller so they don't go behind the links and will match the existing ones better.

    • Thanks David, Just resized the icons ;)

Tony, Thanks Forgot to publish that image only on the front page...

Man this forum is gold, this post is really helping me!

    • Icons looks good now Justin!

I wonder if you need a side nav on the left of the homepage just to balance things up - or a latest articles mod. I don't think this would clutter things but I reckon it will add balance.

Maybe publish something there to see.
