The site is for Dalserf Parish Church, one of the oldest churches in Scotland dating back to 1655.
The site uses Joomla 1.0.12
Theme: SubtleTrooper
Modifications to theme: Single colour menu throughout (more suited for the church site)
other basic mods as required
Extensions: JCalPro
DocMAN
Expose Gallery (Still to be populated)
JamBOOK
The site was previously a static site done using Dreamweaver, but as the church want to be able to add content and edit it by themselves I moved them over to Joomla. They release a news letter ever month and hopefully they will be able to add it to the site as demonstrated.
This is my first complete site using Joomla. I have still to upload a lot of the content, but in the mean time I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks for the comments.
I do intended to change the picture, and will once I find my disks. After a recent house move most of my backup disks with all the pictures are still in a box in storage. That's my next move, to add pictures to the gallery and replace the page graphic.

Looking nice... agreed. Nice to see another church using Joomla.
One tip, though... I'm not a big fan of the calendar you're using. I tried it, too, and found it far too confusing and unattractive. I spent a little bit of the church's money and got EasyPHPCalendar, and haven't regretted it one bit.
You can see it in action at http://www.wesley-umc.com. There's a Joomla mod for it, and I've modified it to filter certain events (which you can see an example of on the Ministries/Youth page on my site. Lots of different and really usable views, but does take a bit of tweaking to get just right. The church office staff handles keeping all the events on the calendar just fine.
