    • Thanks, David! That site is a fun one to work on; Halifax County is a pretty rural area and we're working on some ideas for the Tourism Dept. that they would never have imagined they could have with a website. Rocket Themes are a great way to reduce development time and help clients save money for more features on the site. Yay for RT! ;D

You have really made it your own (as they say :P ) - I agree With Joomla and RT you can build a custom site in half a day - I thought I was good at design, now I don't think I will bother I just let someone far better then me (aka Andy and Kevin) do all the hard work. I am going to upgrade to professional now that I want to use these RT themes on my clients site. Looking forward to relaxing my brain and not worrying about the creative side.

I had developed an in house cms but now just use Joomla all and all far more affordable for the client and a lot better.

    • Nice work!

Which image viewer are you using in the galleries on the Green Flag Marketing site?

    • Thanks, Thomas and Rich!

Dave, I encourage you to upgrade to Pro and "relax your brain" :) You can customize the RT themes so much that I feel that using the themes is actually a service to your clients because you can give them more for their money. I don't like it when some developers just install a theme, replace a logo, and charge the client like they designed the site - but if you take the time to make their site a custom one it's win/win. Andy and Kevin are so great at designing layouts that take advantage of Joomla's strengths that I feel I'd be wasting my time developing my own templates; I've done it before, but feel like you can build a custom home using blueprints without having to draw brand new blueprints for each home - pardon the analogy.

Rich, the gallery on Green Flag is HighSlide JS Bridge from JoomlaProdigy; here's the link to his demo site: http://demo.joomlaprodigy.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=7&Itemid=29 . The thumbnails autogenerate, which I love because it saves time, but you need to take care in naming the files so the thumbnails will line up correctly. I usually do it from shortest image height to tallest and it works out ok. If you have taller images mixed in with shorter ones, an image on the next line will "bump up" against the taller thumbnail and not align all the way to the left. I hope that makes sense!

    • Thanks, Lisa. I knew I'd seen that somewhere. I like the effect...now to find a good use for it!
