    RT_SubtleTrooper with Vortex ButtonMenu

    • Updated my own website with the ButtonMenu - I love the Trooper series but IMO the nav is a bit subtle, especially when using the split menu system with more loaded menus (as mine is)...so I integrated the ButtonMenu and fine-tuned the submenu area to make things a bit clearer.

Will make some new buttons when I have more time...

    • Hey Dan,

Did you make the templates on your site? If so, you did a great job.

    • Hi Joseph,

I made the Officestyle templates, yes...planning to make more when I get the time.

      They're proving quite popular!

    • Big fan of your site Dan, always have been.

The move to use the button menu is inspired. It adds a new depth to your site.

      Very impressed.

Now, just a little tutorial of how you implimented it would go down a treat. ;)

    • Thanks Thomas - I'm flattered!

I love the button menu but was reluctant to move the whole site to Vortex (I prefer the look of SubtleTrooper) so it kind of made me think...why not just implement the button menu right into SubtleTrooper :)

Was a bit fiddly but not a massive amount of work (1.5 hours at a guess)...if I get round to it I will do a mini-tutorial for sure.

      Cheers

    • Great site. Is the buttonmenu a joomla component/module that's available?
