Well from the look of my new avatar you may guess that I'm in a band.

To get the feel of vortex but more so just playing aound to see if I could mess up the php and css I put this site together for my band members to use as our resource site.
The only reason I thought I'd post is for the menu layout modifications, which may give some others a new slant...
Still allot of work as I only put this together this morning and threw a few graphics up, and some audio for the new drummer we're auditioning, so more a private site.
Have I ever mentioned Vortex really Rocks!
Oh I also used the red color variant that was submitted last week which makes a cool touch (yes I know I have to change the suckerfish css to red , before someone metions it
)
Any comment good bad or indifferent are always welcome as from a design and layout perspective this site was more a test/play site to experiment with vortex, and instead of doing it offline I thought at least my band buddys can use some inspiration. - Don't think, Feeeeel... It is like a finger pointing to the moon. (slap) Don't concentrate on the finger or you'll miss all that heavenly glory.

- Oh its pretty heavy graphic wise, I'm actually going to go through the template and reslice it and optimise it in fireworks...should at least be able to cut 200 kbs off the top!

That brought me back to my youth! I spent a good deal of my 14-16 age range listening to this kind of synth rock and dreaming with buddies of forming a band. We could never find anyone to play bass though!
