Thought I would post our first rockettheme template site, seeing as I got a fair bit of inspiration from other member sites. The site is http://www.sonsofthebrave7s.com. We have a new season coming up this summer and the lads love the current re-design. So some of the functionality on the site includes:
-Video Gallery
-Photo Gallery
-RSS Sports Feeds
-SMF forum
-Events Calendar
-Google Map
-Paypal online payment
--and then some private backend stuff: joomla excel spreedsheets for accounting, private gallery.
Anyways I hope this inspires some other developers. ;D

Hey Joseph thanks for the feeback!! Yeah was trying to be discrete with that but maybe thats just overkill. Was trying to make the date an un-important aspect of the content, just incase the content isn't changed for a couple of months.
A. van de Wolde, yeah the slimbox owrked well. The only problem was I had to generate the html for the table. Now I know this is lazy but some thing that would take the images out of a folder and do that for me would have been great. I'm assuming that someone in the joomla development community is probably going to come out with a componet/module that does that fucnitonality.
Miguel the module for the video I used can be found at www.xe-media.ch/software. ; This module is user configureable as well, so I can change the front video on a daily basis.
