Hi Andy,
With the launch of www.schema.org if MC could support these tags out of the box it would be great. But maybe this would require it's own component.
Just a thought.

Hi. I do plus that request.
support for Microdata tagging of content would actually be great.
It probably would have to be a component though. With the release of Google Panda
algorithm, we need to find new ways to better comply with search engines requirements for indexing properly our pages. Microdata seems to be the tool of choice for that, but at the moment
i don't see any solution out there for any CMS and well asking our users to manually edit the source of every article on their sites to insert Microdata tags seems a bit unrealistic

I found a Joomla component that integrates with JCE.
