RokUserStats Issue

  • RokUserStats Issue

Posted 13 years 9 months ago
    • After running Google's Web Master Tools I have discovered that the RokUserStats logs pages that have long been deleted. I confirmed this by reviewing a back up of my database.

My question is this. What is the best method of clearing out these page references from RokUserStats?

      Thanks!

    • Hmm..i thought i had code to automatically prune old entries. I'll have to take a look at that.

    • ok, double checked and the autopruning is conducted by the mod_rokuserstats module (ie the one that shows the stats) on the admin side. if you do not have this published, or do not visit the control panel, then it will not prune.

BTW, how you seeing this info in Google Web master tools? it should only be visible via the DB

    • Google Web Master Tools listed pages that could not be found. There were two that I know that I deleted. So I deducted that it must be logged somewhere. So I looked at me DB and noticed there were listed in the RokUserStats DB.

RokUserStats is published. Control Panel = Dashboard? If yes, that has been visited.

Next Action: I will review my DB again to confirm pruning.

      Any Suggestions?
