Sudden change of the looks

    • Hi prim

Yes, I use Community Builder. I noticed that the extra admin menu items that I installed today using CBSubs does not show using Mission Control.

OK, then it might be related to Akeeba Admin Tools that set strict permissions and blocks much from access. I will also check the permissions on the template files and see.

      Best Regards

    • Hi prim

OK, I fixed the display error. It was a permission issue in the htaccess creator in Akeeba Admin tools.

However, the two extra menu items installed for CBSubs does still not show in the admin area.

    • Yes, I use CB. 1.7.3. As I stated before, the issue seemed to go away after I reinstalled Mission Control. It's been 3 days now with out a problem. I also use Akeena Admin Tool. All my site permissions are set as File-664 , Folders-775.

Was his permissions off from the normal Joomla requested permission? If they are different, what changes did you make?

    • Hi CeeGee

I use Akeeba Admin Tools and I remember making a new htaccess file. Those are usually very secure and do block everything that should not be accessible. In this case, it seems, also some template files was blocked so I had to list the folder/directory containing the template files as an exception when making a new htaccess file using Akeeba Admin Tools.

    • Yup, several people have brought this up, and it seems your solution of a custom .htaccess file with exclusions for MC is is the best one.
