Can't resize edit window

Not sure if this is the same as the horizonatal scroll bar problem listed below.

I've lost the resizing option in the edit window i.e the bit you grab bottom right of the article edit window to resize it. At present I can't reach text off to the right
This seems to be a problem with JCE .
Symptoms is as follows.

No resizing option bottom right (grab handle I call it)
No scroll bar so can't get to text off to the right as the edit window is always wider than the browser/template width
Switching to code view fixes it (as does using TinyMCE or JCK)
J2.5.3 / MC 2.4 /JCE 2.0.21 - Regards
