  • Remove "Edit" Profile & "System Tools" for client logins?

    • (This is a wonderful template!)

      For a client to be able to login to the back-end and only have access to edit a few Articles, I want to remove things that might get them into trouble and confuse them. Can the "Edit" for the Profile be removed for that client user, but still be accessible for Super User? Also, I'd like to be able to do the same thing for "System Tools" for the client login only as well.

      Is this something that should be accomplished through modifying or overriding the Mission Control template or is this a job for ACL (Access Control) in Joomla? Thanks!

    • This should be a job for a ACL in Joomla. Search on google and you will find tutorials on how to do it with default Joomla templates. It should work the same for MissionControl (I am guessing this because I never tried it)
