    MissionControl Looks Wrong

Posted 11 years 4 months ago
    • On a fresh install using Metropolis RocketLauncher, Mission Control does not look right. I tired clearing the browser cache many times (Chrome on Mac).

I can live without the colored header that normally shows, but the issue really becomes a problem after I installed RokGallery. It is unusable:

The site is currently offline, but I post this in hopes it is a known / fixable issue.

    • Ok it worked perfectly for me. I have PHP 5.3.10.

The only big difference that i see from my installation is that you have PHP 5.3.13, Fox Contact and Simplepie. Also configuration.php is not writable.

Maybe it's some weird issue with permissions somewhere.

      I hope this helps.

    • Hmm, i wonder if Akeeba Admin Tools is causing this.

I will ask the others to see if they have any ideas on how to solve this :)

    • I use Akeeba on other sites and there have to put an exception in the htaccess, but i have not installed Akeeba on this site. The behavior is similar to what happens when Akeeba blocks it, so something else must be doing it. Strange, since the only other thing installed is that contact modification.

      SO

Just to see what would happen, I installed AdminTools and put in the exception for the template, and now it works. This makes no sense to me, but most things dont make sense to me, anyway.

However, the menu for RokGallery still is a little strange.

Anyhow, for the moment at least, I think we can consider this perhaps not solved, but overcome.

      Thanks Prim!

    • Maybe this is why this happened: the site in question is not at the top level. It is an "addon domain" whose folder sits inside of the "main" site. That top level site has AdminTools.

    • Well, we installed AdminTools and put the exception in the htaccess, and MissionControl works now. Not sure why it was not working without AdminTools installed.
