Dominion Template Gantry "parse error"

  • Dominion Template Gantry "parse error"

    • Hey everyone!

      I just installed the RocketLauncher version of the Dominion template, and although the Admin page appears properly, when I try to preview the site I get the following error:
      "Parse error: parse error in /home/p/o/podarco.com/html/bennett/components/com_gantry/core/gantry.class.php on line 266

      Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: gantry in /home/p/o/podarco.com/html/bennett/components/com_gantry/core/gantrysingleton.class.php on line 35"

      All the permissions have been properly set and I'm running PHP 4.3.2

      Any advice that you all have would be most appreciated. :)

    • Here's what line 266 of gantry.class.php has:

      $this->currentUrl = JURI::getInstance()->toString();

      Here's what line 35 of gantrysingleton.class.php has:

      $instances[$class] = new $class;

    • Hello!

      Why oh why php 4.x version. Ask your provider to upgrade you to php 5.x

      And your error will be gone or change host, all my clients are on php 5.2.13 and in a few week upgrading them all to 5.3

      FYI using also this old version of PHP may leave you to be hack as there many exploit

      Also take a look at joomla requirement
