    • What do you think about this logo ? I realize something like this purely subjective but I'm open to suggestions and opinions. I have no confidence in my logo design abilities so you can't hurt my feelings ;)

Loving the colour use as well (Anychance of telling us the font used :o )

    • Thanks, James. 2:21 is short time to check it out and reply but that tells me its first impression upon you was good. ;) The font is called Batman Forever Alternate and there is an Outline version available as well. I've had it for a while so I have forgotten where I found it or I would link to it.

    • don't laugh but The Logo Creator is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have been doing graphic design professionally for 25 years and whenever I'm stuck with a logo design I play with the Logo Creator until I have that epiphany of what the logo I'm working on should be. The funny thing is that I have used it for a few years now and I still haven't used an actual logo I created in the program. I guess I use it more for inspiration than anything else.

BTW, you don't have to buy all the logo packs they have. If you have the core program you can add your own graphic elements to it and create entirely new logos.

It's easy to use and inexpensive, give it some thought.

    • Ill check out the infamous dafont.com :o

2 mins is long enough for logo analysis - then its next question :D

I was going to mention the out Wordart type effect but I think it suits so did not comment :)

Might be an idea to steal a few graphics into Photoshop :o

    • I've used their included logo artwork (basically simple graphic elements) in non logo art I've done in photoshop.

I'm a nuts and bolts kind of guy. I don't do well when trying to think up a logo or something else graphically inclined. I've updated my gaming community website to the new Colormatic and it is doing awesome. We need a logo. For the life of me I can't think of anything for a logo. No doubt that is partly due to the fact I know little about Fireworks and what it can do. I can certainly edit a font or or color but I don't know how to 'design' a logo so I'm humbly asking for help.

Our name is Twilight Alliance Gamers. Our shortened name is TAGamers. The logo will go on Colormatic.

Anyone want to take a stab at a logo for us?

Think through a concept (I'm not close to my authoring software) what about using a game control like a PS3/XBOX/etc. invert one for the W in tWilight, and up and down for the M in gaMers Might be a nice graphic element to go with your text.

      Just an idea.

    • Sean, that is a good concept. Unfortunately, we are PC gamers only. I have looked at a lot of various game fonts but we games across many genres - FPS, MMO, etc. Because of that I guess I've gone for a more generic approach. I would still like a logo that better defines us.

I will think on your suggestion and try to come up with some images that could be incorporated . . .
