    Web Site Wanderer

    • I'm thinking of an application that will help us to review our various web sites on an ongoing basis. It seems simple enough to maybe already exist, so that is why I am asking you folks if you know of something.

I want to have a running display that steps from page-to-page in a specific web site, displaying the page on whatever browser is running on that monitor at that monitor's set resolution. Spending about five seconds on each page, it will step through each page in the site, and then start again.

Preferably, this would be running on a pair of monitors with different resolutions in our office, kind of as a background display that we might glance at every once in a while. We have caught issues with some sites by doing this kind of thing manually, but it would be much more efficient if it was automated.

A web site that did this might be very good because then we would be seeing how others view our sites, but I don't know how a web site can view our sites and step from page-to-page without using frames or something, which might alter the full view of the page. Anyway, it would be a step in the right direction.

      Seen anything like this?

      Thanks,

      Greg
