i pay for some links every now and then for commercial reasons so this is interesting ... however, this would almost be impossible to police
i also make a tidy sum out of people paying for links on some of my sites so i personally wouldn't want to see anything like this come into play ..

Yeah I think buying and selling for traffic is fine but it is more the buying for Pagerank. Of course very hard to police.
