    Menu Links Not Working......option,com_contac​t vs option=com_contact

    • This is driving me crazy and I'm sure it something really dumb, but I'm new to this.......

      When I click on the Contact button, it takes me to ...../component/option,com_contact/Itemid,3/ and I get "The page cannot be found"

      When I look at the component, the url reads index.php?option=com_contact&Itemid=3 If I paste this in the browser, I get the Contact page.

      What's the deal?

      Have you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess in your Joomla! root?

    • I turned both SEO settings off and it works fine! Thanks much!!

      If I want to turn SEO back on, how do I still keep my menu links working properly?
