Hello everyone,
I was told to come here to the "Water Cooler" to post my unique needs. I am working on relaunching a faith-based publication online from scratch using Joomla.
The previous site was created in Drupal by a volunteer, and I have maintained it since. It was recently hacked and needed a facelift to fit it's new theme anyway and so I find myself having to start from scratch.
I chose Joomla because of its rumoured user-friendliness. However, I have had many difficulties trying to get everything together myself, specifically design and layout-wise (I am a Graphic Designer).
I am looking for someone to assist with getting things together. I am not necessarily looking for someone to take over the project, but someone that can guide me through the process of doing it myself and potentially work on the site itself--at a reasonable price.
Some of the features on the old site that I am looking to recreate:
- user login
- user forums
- users can post articles
- user profiles
I have purchased a rocket theme membership and ijoomla magazine software.
This person should be familiar with working with themes, ijoomla magazine, and template/web design if at all possible.
