I might be the last person on the planet that knows about this, but I'll post anyway.
Windows Vista has a cool feature call the Snipping Tool. Basically works like Alt+Prnt Scrn except that it allows you to select the area of the screen that you want to capture. So instead of doing a Print Screen, pasting in an editor and cropping the image, you can just select a piece of the screen to copy and directly save it in your prefered format.
Search for "Snipping Tool" in Vista and check it out if you haven't already.
As I was unable to successfully complete the web form for my free copy of Vista that was due to me in a timely manner... the only snipping that I shall be doing is Bill Gates testicles if he gets near me!
With a PC purchase around Christmas, I received a coupon for a free copy of Vista Business edition. I tried upteen, nay, umphundred times to use said coupon at the website that I was directed at, but to no avail. It. Just. Didn't. Work.
Way to go Bill Gates & Company [insert phoney golf clap here].
I see that a great many folks had this problem getting the copy of Vista due to them. > I'll bet that Microsoft is still counting the non-redeemed Vista copies in the "Sold Copies" column however... but I digress.
Sooo... I guess that I can just do without Vista for now. No great loss it seems.
