    A Decent Real Estate Listing Component for Joomla (no IDX)?

    • So I've spent a ton of time researching this and figured I'd just ask. I'm building a real estate website for a client. It is NOT connected to the MLS (does not use IDX), so I need to be able to allow the client to upload listings directly into Joomla.

      It just needs to allow them to upload, then the front end user needs to be able to browse by city or by property type. And then I need the ability to feature listings on the home page and other common tasks. Real simple. But there is a ton of misleading (and outdated) information out there for Real Estate extensions so I wondered if anyone has any personal experience doing what I'm trying to do (which should be extremely common in the real estate world).

      I was especially curious about Mosets Hot Property but it costs $100 and didnt know if worth it.

      Have you looked at Yootheme's Zoo component?

      www.yootheme.com/zoo/

      You can create anything including listings.
