    gzip question

Posted 14 years 6 months ago
    • I didn't know where to put this, or even if anyone can help me. But, when I am looking at Yslow in firefox it isn't happy because six of my files are not being compressed with gzip.

Three of the files are from tabs & slides, one css file & 1 .js file.
One of the files is from easyblog, a .js file.
Two are from pagepeel, both .js files.

I have gzip turned on, the cache turned on and RokGZipper turned on.

Why wouldn't these six files be gzipped with the above turned on? And, can anyone direct me to how I can get them gzipped?

Thanks very much for your insight and help.

    • well, OK. I didn't see the rokGzipper update. I just did that and now it is down to just 1 file.
the only file not in there is this file: plugin_jw_ts/tabs_slides.css

Is there a way to add this? Or, should I just not worry about that file
