How do you create your own banners?

Just wondering if there is a preferred piece of software or website I could use to create some banner Ads to promote my own products/services.

Photoshop or Fireworks. Get something else if you want them animated. Users hate animated stuff anyway so...

I usually buy my graphics from
graphicriver.net
, most of the graphics are psd layers.

Illustrator CS5 with the snap to web-pixel-feature is a cool tool ... love it.

You can check istockphoto.com as well, if you know how to get the rest started.
