    • I am hoping that someone here can help me out. At this point I am not at all worried about the cost if I have to buy a good photo gallery I would be willing to do so. What I am looking for is an easy photo gallery that I can put on my 15 year old daughters website who is a very good photographer for her age.

      I would like it if it had front end uploading capabilities, and be able to upload any size and auto resize for the server. I would like the ability to create categories and such, and really hopefully making it look really nice for her. The easier the better, I have done a whole lot of searching and still have not found anything, or you just cannot get anyone's attention.

      If anyone knows of any thing you can get for a photographer, if there is a cost let me know that too, I would like the best that I can get.

    • I just used http://www.atomicon.nl/atomicongallery for the first time. I had to do some edits since the compression was actually increasing the size of the photo. Won't hurt to do some CSS edits either. She would have to log into the back end, but it's very simple to use and free.

      I am going to check that out, but I really would like to have something loadable from the front end. Thank you and I will try this out.

    • No uploads from the front end (they are few and far between), but a component worth looking at:

      Even thought it's back end only, it's really easy to use and I think your daughter could learn the few simple step involved in a matter of minutes.

      (You could create an admin account for her.)

      Another one of my favorites, if you need captions, Simple Image Gallery Pro (commercial)

      This one automatically creates an editable text file for adding captions (most require you hand code caption files).
