    • Hi guys, always been a problem but now Im keen to find a solution. The remember me tick box for the login module for both Joomla and Jomsocial never have worked for me. Isnt the purpose of this so when users tick it and close the browser, they will still be logged in? I have never had this work for - is it my server, host configuration, website database or joomla itself? Any feedback would be appreciated.

    • hi there,

      i don't think you will still be logged in when you open the browser, because sessions time out.
      make sure you have the plugin enabled.

      as far as i know it just remembers your username and password.
      System - Remember Me
      This Plugin provides "Remember Me" functionality. This allows the website to "remember" your username and password so that you can automatically be logged in when you return to the site. This plugin has no parameters.

      Thanks for reply.

      When im logged into Rockettheme though and close browser, im stayed logged in until I either log out or clear my browser cache/cookies/tmp files.
