Is there a way to crop FLA file

- I have a flash animation that want to get rid of the first part, by first part I mean the part that the animation comes together, I couldn't find a crop or slice tool in Flash MX was wondering if there is a program out there that allows cropping FLA file / slicing layer, if not any how to.
