I have implemented Virtuemart Registration instead of Joomla registration
Two things
a) How do I stop people from entering the url of the joomla reg (without disabling in joomla as this seems to stop virtuemart reg to)
b) How do I get a confirmation page. I made it so no confirmation email is needed by turning it off, but how do I have a message after registration like "Registration Complete, you can now login!". At the moment, it just goes to the store categories

1. There should be, somewhere within virtuemart, a conditional statement such as if registration wrapped in php etc... just comment it out and it should ignore Joomla! (Well, it works with Community Builder
)

Never used virtuemart but try anything that resembles login or registration.
You could always check extensions.joomla.org for registration hacks - James Spencer / Developer & Support / Hull, UK
