Weather "bug" in my joomla site

    • Once again I am a new guy to this and I am not a developer. Folks were very helpful yesterday so I am hoping someone has run across this before as well. Once again I have two questions:

      1. I have a newspaper site that I am building and would like to put a local television station's "weather-bug" on my joomla site. The "bug" actively displays the temperature and other weather related data. They provided the code that I need however I don't have a clue how to do this. Can I use this within joomla?

      2. I am trying to "maximize the real estate" on my site. I think I understand the module position and how you can stack or order them in the same postion. My question (and problem) is it seems like some items bump out or block various positions when I put them on my front page. It looks like there would be enough room but for whatever reason they don't show up unless I move them to another less desireable postion or unpublish them. What am I doing wrong and/or missing?

      Thanks in advance. -jt

    • re the code for your weather module ...

turn off the WYSIWYG editor and just copy it into a module position and publish ... see if that does it

re. the other issue, publish a link to your site ..
