Cannot log in to Admin

I just installed a new joomla portal and copied over the template to template folder and I cannot log in as the admin with the password that It gave me. I know the admin and password are correct, as I copied it down, so i cannot modify the site (or third joomla installation, I am combining 3 joomla installations into one website.}

- Admin, We are talking about the very first time, and I can't get into the site. It says "incorrect username, password, please try again. The same password was used in another installation on the same server (I'm splicing three joomla implementations as if it were one for a number of reasons). I will delete the directory and install it again. Strange.

- OK, I have it figured out. (Had an error message that not everything was downloaded for whatever reason.) Reinstall did the trick. Thanks
