    • Just saw this on extensions.joomla.org and thought Ill make you guys aware of it

      extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...k_id,2402/Itemid,35/
      Download and extract Joomla! (or any other CMS for that matter) to your webserver in less than two minutes. You can even choose to use FTP instead of PHP when extracting your files so that you do not receive any file ownership errors. It's a simple as that. All it takes is a few clicks and a bit of twiddling your thumb while the script does all the hard work for you.

      There are 2 Php pages in the .zip...... but mmmm just not sure what the heck it does! or how to use it! Then again I didn't go beyond looking inside the .zip

    • without even going to the extension page to read about it, i assume it wgets the joomla zip directly off some server, unzips it, and then presents you with the joomla setup page.

      good tool, i'll check it out the next time i need to install joomla. a word of warning, if it works as i assumed (above), my advice is to only download joomla from a trusted source.
