    • Hi guys maybe here i can get the help, im making a little logo for a module , then i was thinkiing how do to for that the fonts can be over a circular way, like the one that is at the www.rolandgarros.com there see the logo with the words Roland Garros in a circular way, currently im trying with fireworks but i cant find a way.

    • Create an ellipse (hold down the shift key while drawing to keep it round) then type some text.
      Select Both the text and the circle and go to the Text Menu and select Attach to Path or use Control+SHIFT+Y

      Then you have to play with the baseline shift and tweak until you have it the way you want. In the process the circle became a path and if you want a colored circle again you need to draw another one and put it under neath (or duplicate the circle and hide one for later use before you attach the text to path)

      I usually do this in Illustrator and confess I have never tried it in Fireworks until a few minutes ago. It is not as friendly to use as Illustrator for this kind of task but it will get you something close that you can play with if fireworks is all you have to work with.
