Hey guys... just an update. The host admitted that they had (have?) a bug in their kernel - this after swearing up and down that they were practically perfect in every way and that I needed to download my entire site to my local system and do a virus scan
which I did (should have known better).
I've taken a spoonful of sugar, but that medicine is still too hard to swallow. We're definitely changing hosts.
Now... how sad am I that I'm actually making Mary Poppins references? I need a vacation. - They were forced to eat Robin's minstrels.... and there was much rejoicing.
