    Layout help!

Posted 17 years 10 months ago
    • I'm putting together my first "real" joomla site using the V3 template. And I'm really feeling lost as too the layout for the site. I understand how the framework of joomlaworks but I'm having a hard time "visually" and logically getting this.

Does anyone know of a good way to start to "layout" a site? ??? I've been looking at some other sites but I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed. :-\

    • not certain what you mean by layout, but the possibilities are endless, and you can experiment simply by publishing/unpublishing modules at different module positions. refer to :

    • I've been thinking about writing a good user friendly manual for this type of thing... That's direct and to the point.. At least about the most common isuues.. like publishing menu items and modules, content, css tweaking, png editing.. the stuff us rocketthemers really need to know.. Cause I was lost at first and mostly I had to kinda teach myself.. I had a few helping hands from here and there... but it would be nice if we could all collaborate together and make the new users experiences better and super duper easy!

So if you have anything that you think would go nice in a manual then post it.. I'll start a new thread in here so we can gather all the info.. also if you see a good helpful topic already out there make sure to post it
