Hi friends,
Right now i have phpBB running in my website, i am planning to upgrade it to joomla and smf integrated to it.
Every thing is setup and ready to go. We have arround 5200 members registered in our website . Being a Stock market website every one trys to login before market starts . This make my shared host in ipower very busy and these days i am getting these errors

i googled this problem and setup 6 user name for the database in an arrays and allocated it one by one. but still i am getting the same problem. I called ipower and registered for Virtual Private Server.
My biggest question is does this Virtual Private Server helps my website, Does it loads much faster than before. If i use joomla i think it will take much time to load than before website.
desidata.com/Indian_Stock_Market/ ; -- this is my new joomla and smf link which i will replace after getting to Virtual Private Server. I optimized images, css files , Deleted unwanted images .But I think i need some help from gurus out there. so please help us.

a VPS will most certainly speed up your website.
since your website is a free service to your clients, why trouble yourself? make the switchover to joomla, and sit in front of your pc for two days. If the site gets too slow, then simply change back to the old site by removing the url redirection or subdomain etc
nobody here can know for sure how your site will run compared to before. there is only one way to find out... go live baby!! - Say no to Internet Explorer 6.
