    • Hi,

I have just made a post refarding the for and against for a Mac or a PC, now i was wondering with Apple releasing Safari for PC, which is better Firefox or Safari?

      Thanks

    • Safari for PC is buggy.

FireFox with lots of extensions is the winner.

    • Hi Peter,

What about Safari on a Mac compared to Firefox, is Firefox still the winner?

      Thanks
      Danny

    • Find someone with a mac and browse the web on a high speed connection using Safari. You'll notice the sites you visited on your PC are not as slow as you thought and you'll discover it was actually your browser.

    • I have been an advocate of Safari since it came out... I have tested it on my Windows machine extensively... I have to say that I am impressed in its overall performance, it is obvious that it is still in Beta form and has some tweaking left to do. It does tend to be a bit slow loading pages with lots of java and the initial loading of the browser itself has me, at times, holding my breath.

I am still optimistic and can't wait until the final release version is out.

    • I like Safari (I use Mac) however, FF is my main browser.. there is no way I can do without all the extensions.. even if it is slightly slower.
