I just installed mod_ownermenu in an attempt at finding a way for user menu items to be shown exclusive to specific users.
however I am running into a prob:
the menu shows up for everybody 'special' instead of the user set in the module only
or does anybody know of another solution for this?
I was thinking of the same question, although from a different direction: an organization has meeting minutes from one committee that can be seen only by committee members, and other minutes for another committee that can only be seen by that committee's members. Or a business has a special offer for preferred customers, and it wants only them to be able to see a special offer.
I have set up a page as a Category, so that no one is even aware that it is on the website except those with Special rights. Can I have different access rights for one Special Username than for another? (User 1, User 2 and User 3 log in and see Rules Committee minutes and User 4, User 5 and User 6 log in and see Personnel Committee minutes, but not Rules Committee.) I thought of simply setting up Board Member as a Username for all Board members to see all minutes. It requires turning off the "unique email" requirement in Global Config.
Next level: Same as above, but User 7, User 8 and User 9 are on an Executive Committee and can see all committee minutes.
