    • Ive been looking forward comprensive docs to optimize servers serving joomla sites. I do a lot of progress but im still having poor ttfb. Ive just checked www.rockettheme.com and TTFB is 99ms, how do they achieve that? of course they servers are better than mine so they network infrastructure, but eventhough my servers should be able to had TTFB around 200ms.
The only template that achive TTFB around 200ms is afterburner tested with gtmetrix (webpagetest.org always show worst site performance)
      http://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.movimientodesuelos.com/NHOoRwX0

Of course ive tried cache but i guess im doing it wrong:
      mysql query cache on
      xacache as opcode
      apache mod_pagespeed
      joomla cache on

ive also tried session table to memory engine and/or innodb for the others, not to mention a few lousy implementations of varnish and squid. No results.
The best tool for me so far has been jotcache which obviously is not strictly server side otimization.

id like to know if anyone can share his/her experience. :)
